Changing the Text Playback Range
When you create clips using the page.line feature, or with a clip list import, Sanction II automatically sets the text display range to show only lines within the selected entry.
During synchronized text playback, Sanction II searches for the first timestamp prior to the start time. Since clips can be adjusted for better precision, it's possible that a line of text previous to the actual clip start line may be displayed.
To prevent this, the Pg:Ln Start and Pg:Ln end entries are used. These settings are automatic, however if you adjust a clip to play back text which is before or after the original clip start or end line, you will need to update this entry.
To update the Playback range:
Double click on the clip segment to load it into the Clip Info window.
Enter the correct page and line number start point in the Pg:Ln Start text box.
Enter the correct page and line number end point in the Pg:Ln End text box.
Click on the Update button to update the changes.
