Viewing Transcripts from the Clip Creator

If you wish to view the transcript text as you create clips, click on the Show button in the Transcript window to load the associated transcript.

The Transcript window allows you to both scroll through the transcript, as well as make clips (if the transcript has been fully synchronized). In addition, the Transcript Window also displays the current page of text as determined by the Page.Line and Find functions.

Use the Page Down and Page Up keys (or scroll bars) to navigate the transcript.

Double-clicking on a timestamp will load the appropriate media file and position the playback to the selected time position.

To create a clip from a range of text from the Transcript window, hold down the left mouse button and select the range of text you wish to create the clip from. Be sure the start and end lines contain valid timestamps. Right click on the highlighted range and the appropriate file will be loaded and the start and end points set on the Clip Creator main screen. You may then adjust and save the clip in the normal manner.

You may also use the Transcript Window as a synchronized playback viewer.
