Add By Browsing
You may add items by browsing with two different methods – Individual Files and loading an entire Directory Tree.
To add individual items:
Click in the Import menu and select Individual Files from the Add By Browsing menu.
Using the Add By Browsing dialog widow, locate the file you wish to add.
Enter the appropriate naming information.
Click on the OK button.
You may also load entire directories of images. When you load from a Directory Tree, each subdirectory in the tree is used as the Group name, and each filename is used as the Item ID.

The directory structure must meet the following requirements:
each directory contains files only – no additional subdirectories
each directory contains only files of the same type (ex all .tif files, all .bmp files)
the directory name is the document name
the file name is the Page ID

Note – if the last two conditions are not met, the directory can still be imported, however the Directory name will be used as the Group name, and the existing file names will be used as IDs. You will have to use the Rename/Renumber function to give the added files the correct IDs.
To add files from a directory tree:
Click in the Import menu and select Directory Tree from the Add By Browsing menu.
Locate the root directory for the directory tree. The root directory should contain only the subdirectories that contain the files you wish to import.
Click on the OK button.
