To print documents & image files:
1. Click on the Print icon in the toolbar.
2. Select the Image option.
3. In addition to printing the actual image, you may also wish to include any annotations that have been saved with the image.
4. To include annotations, select the appropriate Annotation layer check box.
5. You may also wish to print the Item ID, Exhibit #, or Trial Exhibit # directly onto the printed image. To print field information, select the field from the Field drop down combo box.
6. To position the output, click on the Position button and drag the text to the region of the page you would like the output to appear. If you have landscaped images in your case, be sure to set the position for landscape items too.
7. To add a Barcode of the selected image, select the As Barcode option. To position the barcode, click on the Position button and drag the image to the region of the page you would like the output to appear.
Images are automatically sized to fill the printed page.
Click on the Setup button to launch the Windows Printer Setup dialog for changing Printer settings.
Click on the Done button when finished printing to return to the main case screen.
Important – due to the various selection setting options, it is possible to select a group from the main screen, but only the first page actually prints. This will occur if the Auto Load Page #1 setting is enabled. The Print dialog list first checks for selected items in the list view, then if nothing is selected in the list, it uses the selected tree item. To insure that all items in the list are printed, either use the "Select All" right click menu first, or disable the Auto Load page #1 setting option.
Warning – if you select the Burn in All Annotations option, and the selected file type is NOT a Group 4, Black and White tif, you must select the Dither option in order to burn in the annotation successfully.
