Error Logs

Sanction II tracks errors through the use of several different error log files which are created in the Sanction II root directory.

If an error occurs during a task, such as Importing, Exporting, Printing, Copying files, etc. an appropriate log file is created. Most errors in Sanction II are caused by missing files, i.e., if you have added many files from many locations or CDs, if you select an option which requires opening the file and the path is not currently accessible, an error is generated.

By viewing the error log file, you can determine which files were not located and then fix the problem.

Deleting the error logs has no effect on the program's operation. Since many of the error logs are cumulative, you may wish to delete these files on a regular basis.
