The Tree View is the main organization unit of Sanction II.
From the Tree View, you can add items, organize Presentations, Print, Export as well as view the entire case with nothing more than a mouse click!
The Tree View is composed of:
Category Folders - Sanction II databases are composed of five Category folders: Documents, Images, Videos, Transcripts and Other Exhibits. Category folders organize the case by specific file types using Group names and individual item IDs.
In addition, Sanction II uses several custom folders -
Temp Items Folder - A temporary location for storing items that need attention (deleting, Printing, reviewing, etc.). Items in the Temp Items folder can be dragged to and from the Presentation Items and User folders.
Queries – Dynamic SQL based queries that users can create from the Find/Query tab.
Presentation Folder - The Presentation Folders allows you to store individual items in sequence for instant access in Presentation Mode. Items can be rearranged by dragging and dropping, and can appear more than once in the sequence. See the topic Presentation Mode for information on presentations.
User Created Folders - Folders containing shortcuts to any Main Case item. User folders store only selected items, so entire Groups can be pared down for easier viewing.
Clicking on any folder in the Tree View fills the List View with the next level of items under the tree branch. Use the List View to display items in the Viewing Window.
Right clicking on a folder in the Tree View will bring up the right click popup menu for that folder.
