The Convert Network Case feature allows you to copy all images, videos, transcripts, etc. from a network drive onto a local PC or Laptop for use in trial.
If case items have been added to Sanction II from network paths, the user is given the option of copying them to the local hard drive (the local case database is updated automatically).
If items have been added using CDROMs as the source, the user can skip this step.
When the Convert Case feature has completed, the case database directory will be created on the local drive in the Sanction II subdirectory. Network items are copied to either the CaseItems subdirectory (by default), or to the directory specified by the user. All Case Item Edits, are copied to their normal directories, and the local setting file is updated for these paths.
If items are not located, the database is not updated and an error log "netcopy.txt" is created indicating the missing files.
