Exhibit and Trial Exhibit Numbering

Sanction II allows you to set up a predefined naming convention for Exhibit #s and Trial Exhibit #s.

To create a numbering format, enter the appropriate information in the numbering and separator fields.

The Prefix field determines the text entered before the page number.

The ID format determines the number of "0's" in the initial ID.

The Page # format determines the number of "0's" in the subsequent page IDs.

Note the following example:

For a 3 page document called DOC00015 entered as exhibit #3:

Original ID- DOC00015

Prefix - EXH

ID format- 00

Page # format - 0

Separator - "."

Sanction II will generate the following entries in the Exhibit and Trial Exhibit # fields:

EXH03.1

EXH03.2

EXH03.3

To add exhibit numbers manually, right click on any page and choose Exhibit Numbers. To apply Exhibit #s globally or to a range of items, use the Create Exhibit #s option.
