The Relocate/Copy Files option allows you to copy a selected range of items in the database to a new location, or to update the database after a change in the file locations.
Relocating files can be done in conjunction with an export to move a case from one location to another.
You can also use the relocate function to test whether or not all of the files selected are currently accessible prior to relocation. This can be very useful in tracking down missing files, as an error log "relocate.txt" is created in the Sanction II root directory.
