Re-numbering and Renaming Pages

Sanction II allows you to insert pages into an existing group by using the Re-number pages option.

To re-number pages, select the starting page where you wish to re-number from. Right click and select Re-number.

Enter the new page number in the space provided.

If you wish Sanction II to rename the existing items based on the new numbering, select this option and fill in the Prefix and Format information.

If you wish to keep the existing IDs, choose Don't Rename.

Choose Begin to re-number.

IMPORTANT - do not attempt to re-number pages with a value less than starting page or else duplicate IDs will be created and the re-number will fail.

Warning – if you rename an item which has been previously added as a synchronized exhibit, the synchronization will fail. You must re-add the item to the media clip segment if you change the item ID.
