The left margin setting is used to adjust the distance from the left of the page for each line of text when creating Text Clips or Tif files from Transcript pages.
Important – keep in mind that this setting is in inches. If you are creating a text clip, and select an output size with dimensions smaller than the left margin setting, the text will appear to vanish (because it is being positioned outside of the image dimensions).
For example, if the image size is 5 x 3 inches and you select the left margin to be 5, the text cannot be displayed because it would be off of the actual page.
